Jaclyn Dunt grew up near Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side. She discovered her passion for horses at age 2 when she got her first pony, Sweet Betty. Her mother shares the same love for horses (all animals, really), and was never a shortage of furry friends in the house.  Jaclyn began riding before she could walk and hasn't stopped since.

At age 5, she began competing in local hunter/jumper shows. Since then, she has acquired over 15 years of showing experience. She gained experience during her junior years as a Working Student for several trainers. In her early teens,  an career-ending injury to her beloved mare opened the world of dressage up to Jaclyn. She competed successfully at the CDS Junior Championships several years in a  row. During this time she began a position as a working student for Jaki Hardy, a USEF Silver Medal Dressage Trainer. Jaki was an excellent mentor for Jaclyn and taught her the foundations for correct and balanced riding. When Jaki relocated, Jaclyn found herself longing for the jumping world and began as a Working Student and Summer Camp Leader at Cloverleaf Equestrian Center. This experience enabled her to accelerate her jumping experience and begin starting young horses. Jaclyn also was a Working Student for Rachel Allgood, a BHS Certified- USEF Bronze Medal Dressage Trainer during this time.

Witnessing her friends struggle with keeping their horses sound inspired her to investigate Equine Electro-Acuscope Therapy as a Senior Project in high school. She worked with Molly Wells, the pioneer in Equine Acuscope Therapy. The results amazed her and motivated her to become a certified therapist herself.

Jaclyn attended the University of Nevada, Reno and completed a Business Management Degree with a Sociology Minor. During this time, she rescued and trained an OTTB to the 1.20 level.  After graduation, she accepted an Assistant Trainer Position at BreakAway Farms with Ashlin Bowen. At the same time, she completed her Equine Acuscope Certification and began her business, Free Flow Equine Services, LLC.. She spent a year working  as an Assistant Trainer for Alanna Snowden of Gracelynd Hills in Santa Barbara, Ca, moved to Rancho Murieta, CA to work as an  Assistant Trainer for Kelly Van Vleck of Van Vleck Sport Horses, ended up returning to Reno to work with Ashlin Bowen.

She is now the COO and Co-Founder of Equivont.com and promotes sale horses in Santa Barbara, California.

Jaclyn is also a Petsmart Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a PSIA Certified Level 1 Ski Instructor. She loves to travel and enjoys yoga classes.
